Driver Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

As a Driver Warehouse Associate, the primary responsibility is to deliver HVAC products and materials from distribution centers to various locations such as customers, suppliers, or other sales centers consistently. This role also includes assisting with warehouse tasks, like managing inventory and fulfilling orders, during non-driving intervals.

Responsibilities:

• Employ a box truck for the delivery of HVAC products and materials to clients or different branches.
• Ensure that trucks are loaded and unloaded each day with care and precision.
• Obtain proof of delivery by collecting invoices and securing customer signatures.
• Contribute to the effective functioning of warehouse activities by engaging in inventory validations, fulfilling client orders, and confirming order accuracy.
• Evaluate the condition of vehicles each day and record the times they are checked in and out.
• Perform tasks utilizing forklifts or other warehouse equipment as necessary.
• Keep a professional attitude while conducting deliveries and interacting with customers in the course of your duties.
• Aid with miscellaneous warehouse duties when not operating a vehicle.
• Engage in additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• This role demands that applicants hold a high school diploma or a GED.
• One year of experience in driving trucks is a prerequisite for this position, with a strong preference for individuals with prior experience driving box trucks.
• A driving record that shows no DUI offenses, license suspensions, or driving restrictions in the last three years.
• The age limit is set at 21 years.
• The role necessitates having a valid driver’s license and a current DOT physical card on hand.
• CDL license preferred.
• Candidates with a background in forklift or appliance lift operations are preferred.
• - Previous exposure to warehouse operations is advantageous.

• A strong command of the English language is necessary to uphold safety and communication standards.
