Receiving Inspector

Job Description:

As a Receiving Inspector, you will evaluate a variety of products including PWB's, connectors, electrical components, and standard fabricated parts. You will ensure conformance against engineering drawings, workmanship standards, Source Control drawings, and specification drawings. Your responsibilities will include verifying product compliance of standard fabricated parts, reviewing paperwork for completeness and accuracy, and reviewing rejection reports to identify possible problem areas. Additionally, you will review supplier First Article reports for AS9102 requirements, audit characteristics for accuracy, and write Non-Conformance Reports if parts are rejected, escalating issues to the Preliminary Review Board or Material Review Board as necessary.

Work Environment:

Work conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, masks, hearing protectors, and more. You may be exposed to unusual environmental conditions like loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust, or fumes. Involves handling parts in compliance with Electrostatic Discharge Devices (ESD) procedures. The role involves approximately 10% standing and 90% sitting, with occasional lifting and pushing up to 20 pounds.
