NDT Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Non-Destructive Testing Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and integrity of aircraft. Your primary responsibilities will include researching technical data and examining various aircraft structures and components for defects. You will set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment, establish proper examination techniques, and conduct tests such as eddy current, penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle tests to ensure parts meet nondestructive specifications. This role involves strict adherence to safety regulations and maintenance of detailed documentation on all findings.

Hard Skills

• Ability to calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Proficiency in conducting eddy current, penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle tests
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance manuals

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 months.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Marana, Arizona.

Work Environment

This role requires sitting or standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, stooping, and other physical activities. You will work in an aircraft maintenance hangar and on the flightline, operating NDT equipment and handling protective gear. Safety is a priority, with exposure to potential hazards such as high noise levels and materials outlined in Safety Data Sheets. The position is available for the 1st and 2nd shifts from Monday to Friday, with potential contract-to-hire opportunities based on performance.
