Job Title: Driver Helper
Job Description
As a Driver Helper, you will ride along with the truck driver to deliver products to stores and customers. You will use a two-wheel dolly to move cases of beer, wine, and liquor into businesses that purchase the products. The role involves interacting with customers, assisting the driver with product checks, ensuring correct routes and order slips, and setting up displays at various stores. You will report directly to the driver and follow their instructions. This position requires lifting typically around 50lbs, occasionally up to 125lbs when moving kegs.
Pay: $20
Responsibilities

• Ride along with the truck driver to deliver products.
• Use a two-wheel dolly to move cases of beer, wine, and liquor into businesses.
• Interact with customers receiving the product.
• Assist the driver with product checks and ensure correct routes and order slips.
• Help set up displays at various stores.
• Follow the driver's instructions and report directly to them.
• Lift typically around 50lbs, occasionally up to 125lbs when moving kegs.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in using a pallet jack and a two-wheel dolly.
• Experience in unloading and loading products.
• At least 6 months of warehouse, general labor, or physical work experience.
• Comfortable being in front of customers and providing a strong customer experience.
• Ability to lift 45-65lbs, occasionally up to 125lbs.
• Comfortable bending, pulling, and twisting.
• Willingness to work overtime and adapt to varying work hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable sitting in a truck for long periods between deliveries.

Work Environment
The work environment at the warehouse is large and clean. You will help the driver prepare for deliveries each day and ride along with them to different routes throughout the week. Driver helpers may work with different drivers daily and on different routes. You will work in varying temperatures depending on the weather, and should be comfortable working in both cold and hot environments. The typical hours are from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Tuesday to Friday, with potential overtime on Mondays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
