Construction Laborer

Job Overview:

We are seeking entry-level and skilled motivated Concrete Laborers. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for preparing and polishing concrete at various job sites. We are looking to top-grade our team by offering competitive pay!

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the Concrete Polishing division working for customers like Aldi's, Valvoline, and Target

• Grinding surfaces to begin prep for the polish finish they put on their flooring

• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site

• Helping set machinery for jobs daily

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Previous residential/commercial concrete experience (demolition, placing/finishing concrete, etc.) OR

• Previous construction labor experience

• Ability to be flexible on shift when needed

• Ability to travel locally and nationally (company pays for travel/lodging nationally)

• Reliable transportation

• Willing to submit to a drug test

• Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment is preferred

• Willing to meet physical requirements for walking inspection of improved and unimproved property, lifting and carrying equipment/mechanical components (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), hand excavation/digging (using shovels/picks), operating, and working from man lifts, operating electric tools (drills, saws, jackhammer etc.), and providing services under varying weather conditions.

Work Environment/Shift:

Shift: Mon - Fri 7 - 5

• Travel: 50% overnight travel/50% local work

• Travel will typically be Monday - Friday

• They like to keep it 3-4 weeks traveling (home weekends) and then 3-4 weeks locally

• Paid lodging and $30/day per diem when overnight traveling

• When traveling you'll be working 10-12hr days to take advantage of being on the road

• Physically demanding work

• Safety guidelines and PPE required for dust, fumes, and noise

• Proximity to workers/equipment and possible overtime/weekend work

• PPE Requirements: Steel-toed boots, hard hat (company provided), and potentially a respirator (company provided)
