Medical Assembly/Clean Room Assembler

1st & 2nd SHIFT

Job Description

This is a cross-trained position involving assembly, packaging, labeling, and kit packing. Contractors will be working in a clean room environment, helping with medical device assembly. No direct clean room experience is necessary, but an understanding of gowning up and no make-up is required. Good English-speaking skills, as well as the ability to read and write, are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble containers used for surgical instruments.

• Work off blueprints and work orders.

• Use screwdrivers, nuts, bolts, and lock tights to secure screws and assembly fixtures.

• Gather parts from the warehouse and set up the workstation daily using a traveler.

• Assist in the shipping department when necessary.

• Box, label, and package final products and test tubes.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools.

• Proficiency in assembly and medical assembly.

• Production and inspection skills.

• Hand dexterity.

• Ability to follow work instructions.

• Ability to work at high production speed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
