Aerospace Wire Technician

Job Description:

Our team requires an Aerospace Wire Technician stationed. This function entails essential maintenance on varios aircraft systems such as mechanical, structural, power plant, interior, and avionics components. You will be tasked with detailed disassembly, cleaning, and inspection, with strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), guaranteeing meticulous documentation. Engage in the excitement of working with prominent airplane models and be a part of our legacy in keeping a record of quality. On occasion, you may need to work overtime to fulfill service obligations.

Required Skills:

• A&P Certification
• Aircraft Mechanic Experience
• The complexity of the FARs and AMRs necessitates open communication and collaboration among all members of the aviation industry, including manufacturers, maintenance professionals, and regulatory bodies
• Developing Your Technical Writing and Literature Skills for Optimum Productivity

Job Type:

With a 6-month duration, this Contract-to-Hire opportunity is open for applicants.

Work Environment:

In Indianapolis, Indiana, there is a placement open for a job in an organized hangar environment. The shifts available are 1st shift - 7:30 AM to 4 PM, and 2nd shift - 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with a $2 shift differential. Based on experience, the role pays perks between $25 to $40 per hour, with per diem offered to non-local candidates.
